CENTER FOR GENOME REGULATION – CGR
Director:
Miguel Allende: Phd in Molecular Biology, full professor of the Biology Department of Universidad de Chile.
Deputy director:
Martín Montecino: PhD in Biomedical sciences, full professor of Universidad Andrés Bello.
About the center
CGR seeks to understand the biological processes from a genomic perspective, that is, in the context of an organism that expresses many different genes, and through this expression articulates its development processes, responses to the environment and interaction with other organisms. The center has an interdisciplinary group of scientists including biologists, mathematicians and specialists in bioinformatics.
