About the center

The ACCDiS research focuses on cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Its overall goal is to identify common features between the two ailments, so as to find solutions to the health problems that affect the population. Researchers collaborate in the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and development of public prevention policies. ACCDiS has over 220 members (academics, postdoctoral students, graduate and undergraduate students, professionals and technicians) who carry out transdisciplinary research ranging from molecules to public health.
