Maroun Khoury: PhD in Biological Sciences, associate professor of the Faculty of Medicine of Universidad de Los Andes.

Deputy director:

René Botnar: PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Adjunct Full Professor of the UC Institute of Biological & Medical Engineering.

About the center

IMPACT will help to strengthen cell therapy research, create new research lines and the development of biomedical, biomaterials and medical engineering, artificial intelligence in bioinformatics, health care as well as biotech and clinical alliance for the translation of advanced therapies.
