About the center

Invasive species, drought, conservation in productive environments and effective responses of ecosystems to natural and human disturbances are the focus of the IEB interdisciplinary team in different parts of Chile. Its mission is to conduct frontier research into the science behind biodiversity, to train new generations of scientists, and to contribute to the conservation and sustainable management of our natural heritage as part of the social, economic and cultural development of Chile.
