About this station
This station conducts research in science and technology for the knowledge and comprehensive development of arid and semi-arid zones in the north of the country. It focuses on energy areas, water; biodiversity; design, architecture and landscape; and paleoenvironment. With the development of innovative technological solutions for the sustainability of human activities in desert environments, such as solar energy conversion systems, hydraulic energy sources, the study of desert species, research in design fields, and the reconstruction of ecosystems with archaeological evidence preserved.
