About this station

This research and teaching laboratory has an associated Marine Protected Coastal Area (AMCP, in Spanish) that studies the resources and conservation of the ecosystem of the coastline and seabed, seeking innovative solutions on various issues, such as energy generation. In recent decades, research at this station has diversified with the interaction of experts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and other higher education institutions, promoting a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach.
