About this station

This station enhances the study of southern environments, favoring the development of research in the Patagonia, with environmental and territorial monitoring of the concession and the Exploradores Valley. Thus, generating the basic knowledge to understand the functioning of the little altered southern ecosystems and the interaction with local communities and their activities. This is accomplished thanks to the interdisciplinary work of experts from the Faculties of History, Geography and Political Science; Biological Sciences; Architecture, Design and Urban Studies; and of Agronomy and Forest Engineering.
